In the past three months, Dr. Tao Tang, associate professor of Geography, lead an international team in field data collection of the pilot LiDAR survey project for the New York State Thruway Authority.

The team included Buffalo State researchers and graduate students, visiting scholars from Capital Normal University (CNU) of Beijing China along with NYS Thruway Authority Staff.
